Once again I am conducting my own little experiments. Lisa left about 2 hours ago to go work on a project that should have taken very little time. Yeah, like that ever happens. Anyway, she called a little bit ago and said she was having trouble, going to be later than planned and all that. She also mentioned having to wash dishes and clean up the house when she got home. Well, here comes the experiment part.

She is going to be tired when she gets home and I know that all she really wants to do is sit down (hopefully with me) and watch some TV. So I just washed the dishes and am now on my way to the dining room. I’m just curious to see if she notices it first or if she’ll read about it on here. My guess is: She’ll notice about 5 seconds into the house. She’s very observant, plus there’s a noticeable “apple fresh” scent in the air. Love you Lisa.

How has this month gotten away from me already? Something is very wrong with that.

Lisa tells me it's trying to get bad out again. This morning when I got home from work it was 46 degrees outside. Makes me glad that I did some running around this morning while I could. May not get the chance tomorrow. Lately it seems like winter has remembered us. It's about time.

We have finally gotten some traditional weather around here. It snowed last week enough that it’s still here and last night the temp got down below zero. That’s real nice when you have to be outside working in it. About 6 am I came upon a city crew working on what appeared to be a broken water main in the street. A busy street with below zero temperatures and thousands of gallons of water rushing out onto the road. I’m going to have to check back on that tonight to see what it looks like. Stuff like that always seems to wait until the worst time.

While testing the borrowed camera yesterday in preparation of making a spud gun movie, I found out something. It doesn’t have any sound. That was the one thing that has kept me from doing it up until now, the sound would really add a lot to it. I’ll probably go ahead and do it anyway but I won’t be happy with it.

I'm working on getting a movie of the spud gun up this week end. Maybe even today. We'll see how that goes.

Sure has been quiet around here. Stay tuned though. The weekend is coming up and I can see a movie in the near future.

I keep thinking that I’ll post something on here but when it comes right down to it….. there’s nothing to post. Yes, my life is that boring at times. Not really boring as much as it is something else, I’m not sure what to call it. Like right now, I’m typing a bunch of crap just so I’ll have something to post. Nothing real interesting but it’s something anyway.

I did get the new phone and so far I love it. The battery life is something that I still don’t have worked out. I just have not had it long enough yet to know if I need to get an extended one. Probably will but for a little while it can wait.

Also, we still have no snow but we do have temps in the teens at times. What’s the deal with that? Tonight it is supposed to get down there into the teens and yesterday it was 60 something outside. Seriously, it’s just wrong.

One more thing I forgot. It’s time to upgrade cell phones so if anyone knows anything about the Motorola V60ci let me know. That’s what I have my eye on and I need some reviews.

It’s been a pretty slow start to the new year so far. A day or two ago I got to thinking about something that I had forgotten about long ago. I don’t know how old I was at the time but it seems like I was pretty little. Anyway, for some reason it just popped into my head the time that mom let me stay up until midnight and had a whole pile of chips and stuff to eat. Just me and her. That’s about all I remember about that and really, I don’t know if we did that more than once or not. Probably did but 25 + years makes a person kind of forget I suppose.

Today we had some left over Christmas presents for the kids. Ben was opening one up and someone said something about wondering what it could be. His reply was “Maybe it’s a shotgun.” Yep, that’s my boy. Mom always said that I was like that too. It’s too bad he’s only 4, we could really have some fun. I guess that will have to wait a little longer.
