I can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying my new TV channels. Mostly it’s because of all the shooting shows that are on a couple of them. Right now I’m watching a combat sniper competition. Makes me want to go out right now with one of my rifles. It’s kind of hard for me to come up with 1000 yards to shoot at around here though. About the best I can do is a little over 300 which is good enough for all practical purposes. It’s fun to have more than that but it makes for a lot more walking.
So far the new cable modem and TV setup seem to work pretty well. The modem gets some decent speed, much faster then the DSL.
Today, at around 1pm, we are dropping the DSL for a cable setup. I hope that all goes well since I'm losing sleep over it. Really, I should be in bed but I have to wait on the cable dude. Also.... my main e-mail address will be changing (for those that give a shit) but right now I have no idea what that will be.
Hey!! Survivor comes back on tonight. Finally, (and hopefully) something worth watching.
I keep putting off doing a letter for work. Even something as stupid as this I hate to do when I'm home. It just doesn't seem right, working when I'm at home. Oh well, Lisa does it all day long. I suppose I can survive a few minutes.
I think I just upgraded Todd's MT installation. Not that he will notice or anything.
